Steffen Korbach, CEO di Gemballa, ha annunciato l’arrivo di una hypercar con prestazioni da brivido: da 0 a 100 km/h in meno di 2,5 secondi; da 0 a 200 km/h in 6,5 secondi.

Dalla Germania parte la sfida per le nuove hypercar: Gemballa infatti ha annunciato l’arrivo di un nuovo bolide. E così a sfidare le varie McLaren, Pagani e Bugatti arriva il marchio tedesco che promette una supercar che sfiorerà i 400 km/h di velocità massima. Non solo: lo scatto da 0 a 100 sarà coperto in meno di 2,5 secondi e quello da 0 a 200 km/h in 6,5 secondi. Numeri impressionanti che suonano come una sfida.

Ad annunciare l’arrivo della nuova hypercar Gemballa è stato Steffen Korbach, CEO e proprietario del marchio. L’auto ad altissime prestazioni non dovrebbe uscire prima del 2022 ma sarà presentata nel 2020. Si tratta del risultato di un investimento di un progetto da 20 milioni di euro.

#GEMBALLA is running a hypercar project. The company GEMBALLA GmbH from Leonberg near Stuttgart is successfully starting its fundraising process and registering the first incoming payments from investors. That is the starting signal for the beginning of the technical planning phase and at the same time reason to announce further information. As well as new pictures of the hypercar, GEMBALLA is now also publishing further details regarding performance and technology. The first prototype should be displayed at the beginning of 2020. The car will use state-of-the-art drive and aero technology. The aim is an acceleration time of 0-100 km/h (62 mph) of under 2.5 seconds. 0-200 km/h (124 mph) should be achieved in around 6.5 s. As usual, GEMBALLA is counting on lightweight design and carbon for this. Initially, a version with a pure combustion engine is planned for a pure hypercar feeling. However, at least hybrid technology should be used in later models. “We’re now concentrating on building one of the last pure sports cars, a modern classic with an outstanding appearance and performance. A pure GEMBALLA car needs petrol and sound. Not all new trends are cool”, highlights CEO Steffen Korbach. Perhaps there will even be an option with a manual gearbox. La nuova Gemballa sarà dotata di una scocca in fibra di carbonio e di tante attenzioni per l’aerodinamica. L’obiettivo, come annunciato da Korbach, è quello di arrivare a sfiorare i 400 km/h di velocità massima. Ancora molto riserbo sulle caratteristiche della nuova supercar di Leonberg. Di certo c’è che disporrà di un cambio meccanico e di un motore elettrico. Probabilmente sotto il cofano batterà una rivisitazione del V10 5.7 da 670 cavalli visto sulla Porsche Carrera GT ritoccata da Gemballa.

Sicuramente l’auto sarà prodotta in edizione limitata. D’altronde siamo pronti a scommettere che il prezzo di vendita sarà riservato a pochi. Inoltre le altre auto di Gemballa, come per esempio la Mirage GT, sono solitamente prodotte in pochi esemplari.

Gemballa è un marchio nato nel 1981 e che si è occupato per decenni delle rielaborazioni delle Porsche. Nel 2015 Korbach l’ha acquisito e sta sviluppando i nuovi progetti futuristici del marchio.
